Happy Holidays

Ok so i really have been slacking on my blog. Sorry everyone, but FB has become way to convienent. I just wanna update everyone on whats been going on with us. A lot has happened since we moved to california. We really do love it here. We are in walking distance to the beach and the beach has an awesome path way that follows around most of the peninsula. We really do enjoy being able to go down to the beach and take Cache for walks. He loves staring at the ocean. I think is amazed by it. The weather here has been so great. Its usually 50's or 60's during the day. I feel bad for all my family that has to shovel everyday before they go to work, but i am so grateful we dont have to do that here. Cache has learned so much since we moved here. He started sitting up right before we came. Then he started crawling and now he is almost walking! He can take about 6 steps before falling now. He gets so excited and then falls. He just keeps getting more fun. He sure is mean though. Cache loves hitting us and telling us no. Thats right Cache says no. Its pretty much the only thing he will say. When we take things away from him he will scream at us instead of crying. He is not afraid of anything or anyone. Such a little flirt when we go to the store. Logan has been doing great in school. He is loving learning portuguese. I am so proud of him, but i think i need to learn a little now so i will know what he is saying. We are so excited to be coming home for Christmas. Logan needs a good break from school and i need a break from being home all day. We are so glad that we can go for so long. Pretty much everyone has heard the news now.. Logan might be leaving us for a while. It is only 75% chance that he will go this time. (depending if we get back in time and what not.) Nobody get upset now i really would not like to think about it unless i have. Deep down inside i am preparing myself. I will be going to beauty school this summer. I am so excited to finally go. If you have known me for a while, you know this has been a passion of mine since i was very little. That and being the first women president and painting the white house pink. I think i will have better luck with beauty school. The only thing that will be hard for me is putting my baby in daycare. I have been so lucky that i have been able to be a SAHM. I really have enjoyed all the time i have spent with my baby and i will really miss it when i start school. I think Logan might have a heart attack when Cache goes to daycare because he is such a germ freak. You all know how he was when Cache was born. I really love my husband for bein such a clean freak. Cache and i have been sick with the flu. YUCK! Logan has been keeping up on cleaning the house. He really loves that lysol we had to go buy more because he uses it so much. That and hand sanitizer. At least our house is flu free! i dont even know where we got it. We never leave the house. I hate driving around here. One last thing my sister, Brenda, is pregnant with baby #2. I am so excited to have another niece/nephew. We dont know the sex yet, but i am very very excited. She is due in april right before we come home again. I hope everyone has a great Christmas! Wish you all the best of luck in this new year coming up!

Finally updating

Dirk and Cache want to be like grandpa Lenny so they grew mustaches. If you ask me Dirk looks just like grandpa Lenny...

I just have to brag about my little guy though. Its amazing how fast he has got big. He is so amazing! I hope he starts crawling soon. He can get up and rock and then falls over.

When we got back to Utah we finally blessed Cache. We didnt want anything big because we planned it kinda last minute. My little man was so handsome and he was so good the whole time.

I am finally updating my blog after.. hmm who knows. Its been forever. So much has happened in the past few months for the Archuleta family. We moved from AZ to UT. Longest drive of my life and i might add that it was the most tiring drive too. I have to give my dad a big thanks! He was such a trooper and drove the whole time (18 hours) with no sleep. We pretty much drove from the bottom of one state to the top of another. I did get to see the north rim of the grand canyon and that was pretty amazing! The pic of above isnt the best, but any picture i put up wouldnt even begin to show how beautiful it really is.

Cache

My baby is getting so big so fast. He said his first word, "mama" I couldnt believe it the first time I heard him say it. It made my whole day. Logan wasnt jealous for to long though lol because just a couple of days ago he started saying "dada" too. My little man is such a stud. i swear everyday he does something new that melts my heart. He is rolling like crazy and trying to sit up. He will sit up, fall over and do it all over again.

Utah

We went home for the fourth of july weekend and it was so nice to be home and see our families. My first day there i cut all of my hair off because Arizona is way too HOT! Cache slept through the night the whole time we were there, but now that we are back here he is up 2 times a night. Brenda and I bought a little swimming pool for the boys to swim. Dirk had a blast in the pool and he loved swimming with "Baby Cache." My vacation went to fast but i wasnt to sad to leave because i get to go back in a couple weeks.

So i havent posted anything new in a while sorry everyone. Logan and i took a trip up the mountain. We drove as far as we could and it was so high. I am not always a fan of hights and i was a little freaked out most of the drive. Logan thought it was hilarious how scared i was. Cache was so good though he slept the whole entire time. Our little adventure took about 3 hours and i was so happy that he slept that long...

I never thought it was so important to stick to a schedule with Cache, but ever since we got off our schedule he has been a terror. He only takes an hour to an hour and a half naps. I end up putting him to sleep at least four different times. (which i really am starting to hate because he fights when you try to put him to sleep.) He also gets up 2 or 3 times a night. The past couple weeks Logan has had long days and its been hard for me. Im so looking forward to visiting home so i can have a little break. I really cant wait to go home and be able to go shopping and go to craft stores. I am really excited to hang out with my sister. She is my best friend and i miss her and my dirky doo so so much! I cant wait to eat french fries with my little dirky. I will take some new pics of Cache and try to post them before i leave sundays.

Cache is getting so big!

Cache is 3 months old now. He still isnt sleeping through the
whole night. He sleeps from 9-4 which is better then before,
but i really wish he would just sleep til 7. On the up side he
already holds his own bottle. I feel blessed for that much. He
has growin so much in the past month. Cache skipped over 3-6
month clothing and wears 6-9 month. He is so smilely all
the time. He laugh at night in his sleep so im hoping soon he
will be laughing at us.

Memorial weekend

This last weekend Logan had four days off of school. It was so nice having a long weekend to spend as a family. We went exploring to Nogales, Tucson and Tombstone. I have to say i am starting to like it down here. The city of Nogales is split in to two parts the USA part and the other part is mexico. I have never been to mexico so i wanted to see what the bored looked like. We had to get new cell phones so we drove 45 minutes to Nogales to get phones and so we could see the bored. (the bored is also 15 minutes from us, but its not as exciting as the one in Nogales.) I was really excited and was surprised to see that both sides look the exact same. The drive to Nogales was beautiful on the bright side. Tucson was not as exciting as i thought it would be. Sure there was lots of shopping, but there is just no place like home. We went to Tombstone on a perfect weekend. They had a huge celebration for memorial day weekend and everyone was dressed up like cowboys and stuff. We really enjoyed it.

The big move

We finally have unpacked every last box. We're finally enjoying what a joy it is to be a family. I have been in the big AZ for a week now and its alot different from home. The town is a little smaller then i am use to and there are lots of big bugs around here. (you that know me know i dont like anything with 6 legs.) My first run in with a creepy crawler was a huge black spider on Caches crib. Oh did i mention we have cockroaches here. Monsoon season is around the corner from us and that means that all the big spiders will be coming into town. At least the sunsets down here are amazing!
